[Taipei , Taiwan ] TE Connectivity (TE) has introduced a new 0.5mm fine pitch header (FPH) board -to-board connectors for parallel stacking applications of PCB, to meet the electronic products for small, high-performance connector requirements. The new "self- fastening " interconnect system is not only powerful, but also affordable, to help integrate various connectors, reducing the cost of component parts and maintenance .
The new design of FPH connector allows two identical connectors to connect . With this unique FPH design , customers will no longer need to buy a separate connector plugs and sockets, thereby reducing half the quantity of parts. In addition, this TE connector also has the widest operating temperature range and a powerful high-speed data transfer capability.
Greg Paukert, TE consumer electronics product manager , said: " The 0.5 mm FPH board to board connectors can reduce system development cost for our customers , simplify the identification of connector , documentation , and maintenance cost.
