Axiomtek introduced its latest 15” industrial touch panel PC - the P1157E-500.
This touch panel computer adopts a 15” XGA TFT LCD display, featuring an IP65-rated front bezel and 5-wire resistive touchscreen with 250 nits brightness– making it suited for use in multimedia kiosks or as a human machine interface (HMI) in factory automation applications.
The 15” P1157E-500 has scalable CPU options with the 7th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3, Celeron and Pentium processors in an LGA1151 socket with an Intel H110 chipset (codename: Kaby Lake). This industrial touch panel system supports dual DDR4-2133 Long-DIMM sockets with up to 32 GB memory.
“The IP65-rated P1157E-500 features one PCIe x4 slot or one PCI slot for integration of a variety of add-on cards,” said Raymond Liao, a product manager of Product PM Division at Axiomtek.
Liao added, “it also comes with built-in speakers for multimedia applications, and an optional Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n module and WLAN antenna for wireless connectivity. Users only need to remove three screws to open the back cover for quick assembly.”
It's I/O interfaces include three RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports (built-in Intel i211AT Ethernet Controller), one audio (Mic-in/Line-out), one VGA, one HDMI and one DisplayPort.
For extensive storage options, the 15” XGA Intel Kaby Lake-based touch panel PC supports one 2.5”/3.5” SATA HDD or two 2.5” SATA HDD upon request.
The P1157E-500 has five OSD membrane keys on the front panel to provide an easier way to adjust the display, volume and brightness. Front-facing LED indicators are available for monitoring of hard drive and display status.
To ensure this 15-inch Intel Core-based touch panel PC can be integrated into different settings, it can be installed by rack mount, VESA arm or wall mounting. It also supports the Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
