TAIPEI, Taiwan - Wiwynn announced that Wiwynn SV300G3, a verified Intel Select Solution for NFVI on Red Hat, is now available. It addresses the growing demands of NFV and SDN workloads which Communication Service Providers (CoSPs) utilize to empower ultra-high bandwidth and ultra-low latency 5G technologies and edge computing applications. This NFV optimized solution will assist CoSPs to accelerate network transformation and central office (CO) re-architecture.
Wiwynn SV300G3, a 1U dual socket server featuring Intel Xeon Platinum processors, has passed the Intel Select Solutions for NFVI with Red Hat verification, which includes stress tests and configuration tuning. The high-performance CPUs with acceleration via Intel QuickAssist Technology combined with optimizations through DPDK, enable exceptional throughput and latency performance.
“In the fast-growing 5G and edge computing market place, the ability to bring high-performance and low-latency services with reliable infrastructure is the key to success,” said Steven Lu, Vice President of Product Management at Wiwynn. “Wiwynn SV300G3 with Intel Select Solutions for NFVI is fully configured to provide low-latency packet processing for virtual network functions. With the pre-integrated and tested solution, CoSPs can simplify and accelerate their NFVI deployment and expedite network transformation.”
“Rapid and reliable infrastructure deployment is the key to business success in today’s ever-changing market,” said Dan Rodriguez, vice president and general manager of the Communications Infrastructure Division in Intel's Data Center Group. “Intel Select Solutions for NFVI offers a fast path for CoSPs to build out their infrastructure.
