The RT720 is a new broadband silicon tuner that can support two new UHD (Ultra High Definition) satellite standards: 4K resolution Broadcasting Satellite Digital - 4K BS, and Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite - Second Generation Extended - DVB-S2X。
It also supports legacy SD and HD standards: Digital Video Broadcasting-Satellite - DVB-S/DVB-S2
Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting - Satellite -ISDB-S; Advanced Broadcasting System - Satellite - ABS-S.
The integrated tuner has an extended frequency range (250MHz to 2150MHz) and is able to receive 4K signals for 4K Ultra HD TVs. The RT720 boasts a high signal sensitivity, extended linearity and excellent resistance to adjacent channel interference due to its advanced architecture. It also has the lowest power consumption and smallest die area in the industry.
