NANTOU, Taiwan - Standard certification and testing company Allion Labs Inc. formally opened an “IoT Innovation Center” in Zhongxing New Village, Nantou which will provide comprehensive IoT testing and certification and assist manufacturers in understanding usage scenarios in the future IoT era.
Allion's IoT Innovation Center has a wide variety of equipment including connection technologies, cross-platform terminals, and bridges and provides a testing and verification site that is comprehensive and accurate. At the center, they will help manufacturers to find potential problems in advance during the early stages of product development and also provide related consultation and debugging analysis.
Allion CEO Jian Zhen-xia stated that IoT devices in future generations will exceed the total number of users and in addition to having different applications for different situations, methods of finding sources of interference and reducing their influence will be of utmost importance. In order to enable manufacturers to understand variations in different testing environments, in the second half of 2017 Allion established this “IoT Innovation Center” to help manufacturers understand usage situations for the future IoT generation.
Currently, the usage scenarios provided by the center include: single upstarts, core families, and smart campuses. The single upstart usage scenarios are part of a variety of voices that co-exist to provide assistance. In addition, with similar sources of interference in the testing of on-site displays and performance differences in the speech assistants launched by Amazon, Google, Apple, and Xiaomi, it is necessary to be able to accurately grasp the locations of sources of radio frequency interference.
