Texas Instruments (TI) introduced a new family of digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that enables engineers to increase the accuracy and performance of programmable logic controller (PLC) I/O modules, field sensors and transmitters, and building automation systems, while decreasing overall system size and cost.
The DAC8760 family is also the industry's first to provide simultaneous voltage and current outputs, giving system designers the flexibility to use either one or both outputs.
Features:
- Current Output: 4 mA to 20 mA;
0 mA to 20 mA; 0 mA to 24 mA
- Voltage Output:0 V to 5 V; 0 V to 10 V; ±5 V; ±10 V/0 V to 5.5 V; 0 V to 11 V; ±5.5 V; ±11 V
(10% Overrange)
- ±0.1% FSR Total Unadjusted Error (TUE) Max
- DNL: ±1 LSB Max
- Simultaneous Voltage and Current Output
- Internal 5-V Reference (10 ppm/°C, max)
- Internal 4.6-V Power-Supply Output
- CRC Check and Watchdog Timer
- Thermal Alarm
