Small Cell Leadership with New Devices for Residential, Enterprise and Outdoor Markets

瀏覽次數:75

Broadcom's BCM61735 is optimized for low cost and bill-of-material, lowest power and small footprint required by residential CPE markets. When combined with Broadcom Wi-Fi, DSL, cable and PON residential gateway products, the BCM61735 provides a complete multi-radio access technology residential solution.

Broadcom's BCM61755 and BCM61765 provide advanced enterprise and venue features, including RF digital front end (DFE), multi-core processors, increased user count, range and mobility and carrier aggregation, along with carrier Wi-Fi and Power-over-Ethernet compliance.

"Our new generation of residential and triple-mode enterprise baseband processors for small cells provides global carriers with a powerful solution as 3G technology matures and global operators prepare to transition to 4G/LTE mobile networks," said Greg Fischer, Broadcom Vice President and General Manager for Broadband Carrier Access.

"Building on more than two million field deployments of our small cell technology, Broadcom's new BCM617x5 SoCs allow carriers to meet consumer demand for a consistently high quality, high performance mobile experience."

The BCM61735, BCM61755 and BCM61765 enable carriers and operators to deliver improved connectivity for their enterprise and metropolitan subscribers by optimizing spectrum efficiency for an overall increase in network capacity, improved coverage and higher data rates.

Broadcom's BCM617x5 small cell series also ensure connectivity for all mobile network access modes (3G, 4G/LTE and Wi-Fi) and configuration bands. New support for 20+20 MHz carrier aggregation, which makes more efficient use of available but often fragmented spectrum, is included in the BCM71765 to address the wider transmission requirements of LTE networks.

Today's launch also includes Broadcom's new 3G/ 4G LTE RF transceiver, the BCM61297. The very low-power consuming device combines with Broadcom's small cell SoCs to reduce bill-of-material and better manage small cell interference on all carrier aggregation band combinations approved by 3GPP, resulting in seamless service to mobile subscribers.

Additional support for GSM/UMTS/LTE sniffing capabilities for advanced self-organizing networks and timing algorithms further reduces operator costs to upgrade site performance and to enhance overall mobile network capacity.

Features:
