TAIPEI, Taiwan — Another creative 3C product hit the market, E-Life Mall, a Taiwanese electronics retail chain teamed up with Lemel and Intel, began selling a pocket-sized stick computer using an Intel chipset that can turn any compatible display into a virtual PC.
The pocket-sized stick computer is equipped with an Intel Atom quad-core processor and the Windows 8.1 operating system, it's so far the smallest Windows computing device.
Peng Cheng-zhao, CEO of E-Life Mall electronics retail chain said that the pocket-sized stick computer is branded by Lemel, designed by Intel, and packaged by E-Life, and it is exclusively selling in E-Life Mall.
In theory, with a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) port, the Lemel-branded stick computer can use big-screen displays, like full-HD televisions, which is priced for NT$4,990 (US$164), also can run Microsoft Office software and connect to a wireless mouse or keyboard via Bluetooth connectivity.
