Phytrex, the MFi design services company and solution provider, is happy to announce its Apple HomeKit-enabled WACIO Platform SDK is now available for hardware accessory makers. With the WACIO SDK, Phytrex is now able to offer smart appliance and IoT hardware makers a full HomeKit implementation as well as feature and design guidance for their app. The WACIO SDK is a full end-to-end solution that meets all technical specifications and can incorporate Wi-Fi chipsets such as those Apple vendors.
HomeKit offers a set of common protocols making it easier for customers to control HomeKit-enabled accessories using Siri or third-party apps. HomeKit is built on a secure foundation with end-to-end encryption which provides customers a secure connection between their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and HomeKit-enabled accessory.
