Axiomtek has announced the latest eBOX560-880-FL, a palm-sized fanless embedded box system utilizing onboard multi-core 5th generation Intel Broadwell ULT SoC for both excellent performance and ultra-low power consumption.
The ultra-light fanless embedded computer is equipped with a IP40-rated rugged aluminum cold-rolled steel enclosure and designed to withstand the temperature range from -20°C to +50°C (-4°F to +122°F). One DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM socket supports up to 8 GB memory capacity. One DisplayPort and HDMI display interface with Intel integrated GFX graphic engine that delivers high-resolution Ultra HD 4K display support for immersive visual retail experience. The Axiomtek eBOX560-880-FL is ideal for digital signage, information system, kiosk, video surveillance, transportation, and other automation & embedded applications.
The high performance eBOX560-880-FL not only offers a choice of 4th Generation Intel Core i5 4300U and Intel Celeron 2980U SoC but also a choice of 5th Generation Intel Core i3 5010U SoC featuring lower power consumption and great graphics performance. Customers can choose among different levels of CPU based upon their application needs.

For ease of use in various applications, the super lightweight fanless box PC reserves a wide choice of I/O ports including one RS-232/422/485 port, one RS-232 port, four USB 3.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one DisplayPort port, and one HDMI port. The storage interfaces include a 2.5” SATA HDD and one mSATA slot. The Intel multi-core SoC fanless embedded computer also supports VESA mount, wall mount, DIN-rail mount (optional) which can be used for different panels and display applications.
