The EBC 356 is designed for embedded applications while the ICES 621 targeting customers who tailor-made their carrier boards. Both have fast I/O interfaces including USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0, making them ideal for interactive kiosks at museums, airports, and shopping malls.
With 14nm Intel Pentium and Celeron processor N3000 product family support, ICES 621 have graphics capabilities required for kiosks and display to play superb 4k video. The type 6 COM Express has dual DP/HDMI and one VGA output. Chip innovations reflect enhanced power efficiency, thermal performance, smaller size, and price, make it a good fit for projectors and handheld medical devices as well.
With the same Intel platform, EBC 356 not only delivers crisp 4k performance but also great flexibility with triple HDMI outputs, making it an outstanding multimedia solution. In addition to fast I/O (USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0), the single board computer equips an M.2 slot for an optional 3G/4G or SSD storage. Wireless connection simplifies local installation, maintenance, and multimedia upgrade while M.2 SSD delivers a reliable storage choice over spinning disks.
