TAIPEI, Taiwan — NEXCOM has released the Kiosk Panel PC KPPC 1812 to help build a smart future-proof kiosk that can evolve with changing needs of retail and hospitality industries. Moreover, NEXCOM is confident in becoming the top two robot controller firm in Taiwan.
Based on Intel Celeron processor J1900, the KPPC 1812 can power multimedia contents for advertising and enable multiple ways of user interaction for self-servicing. The KPPC 1812 is designed with expansion flexibility and ease of use and maintenance and can maximize kiosk uptime and lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for users.
The kiosk panel PC 1812 is powered by quad core Intel Celeron processor J1900 and is built with an 18.5-inch 16:9 widescreen P-cap touch monitor and a 2-megapixel front camera. Featuring outstanding computing and Full HD multimedia capabilities, the KPPC 1812 provides high responsiveness and supports multi-touch gesture for use in advertising, information lookup, camera-aided CRM analysis, video chat drive through ordering and other retail and hospitality applications.
To enable a greater extent of self-service, the KPPC 1812 is equipped with a wide set of I/O interfaces and peripheral options. The KPPC 1812 can not only be customized with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) peripherals but also supply power to the external devices. NEXCOM has also developed QR code scanner, NFC reader, and thermal printer modules to build up, for instance, mobile payment function whilst reducing the wiring and simplifying peripheral integration.
