TAIPEI, Taiwan – The “Delta Smart Campus", Delta Group's landmark booth exhibition, held its grand opening today at COMPUTEX Taipei 2015 in the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall. This year Delta is highlighting its “smart green campus solutions” on the theme of classrooms and campuses where visitors can experience an interactive, digital, low-carbon learning environment.
“Delta has been involved in education for many years. The Delta Electronics Foundation has recently been working on a non-profit Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform on which a good teacher can reach and influence far more students than through traditional classroom teaching. We hope this can improve the quality of education and contribute to the sustainable development of Taiwan’s human capital development,” said Mr. Bruce Cheng, the founder and honorary chairman of Delta.
“Delta has integrated several technologies, including interactive projection, networking, and energy management, to provide a smart, energy efficient solution for future campuses. This also fulfills our mission of “To provide innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow,” said Ms. Shan-Shan Guo, Delta’s chief brand officer.
Delta’s InfraSuite datacenter solutions have helped the National United University in Taiwan build a green datacenter which saves energy by over 40%. Delta has also helped Dongshan High School build a smart, mobile learning environment.
On the campus theme, Vivitek, a brand of Delta, unveils its new Qumi Q6 LED portable projectors. Delta’s Innergie will also display a full spectrum of stylish personal power solutions. Delta’s ventilation series, which achieve 82% energy savings compared to traditional ventilation fans and has been recognized by Taiwan Excellence Awards for two consecutive years, will also be showcased in Delta’s booth.
